Football Recap: Los Fresnos Falcons vs. McAllen Bulldogs
Los Fresnos had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They breezed by the McAllen Bulldogs on the road to the tune of 43-10 on Friday. The win was some much needed relief for the Falcons as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak dating back to last season.
Leading Los Fresnos to victory were Robert Pineda and Diego Torres. Pineda rushed for 51 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries, while Torres gained 113 total yards and two touchdowns.
Los Fresnos will be defending their home-field for the first time this season they go up against Rowe at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for McAllen, they will welcome Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial on Thursday.
