For the first time this season, Masterman will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They are taking a road trip to challenge Carver High School of Engineering & Science at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.

Masterman took a loss when they played away from home two weeks ago, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 25-10 margin over Olney.

Meanwhile, Carver High School of Engineering & Science won against Philadelphia Performing Arts on Thursday with 15 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. Carver High School of Engineering & Science beat String Theory by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 15-14. Winning may never get old, but Carver High School of Engineering & Science sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.

Masterman's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Carver High School of Engineering & Science, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0-1.

Masterman took their win against Carver High School of Engineering & Science in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 18-8 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for Masterman since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
