After a string of 14 wins, Galesburg-Augusta's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell to the Kalamazoo Christian Comets 69-64. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Rams of the 58-36 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2023.

Galesburg-Augusta's loss dropped their record down to 20-5. As for Kalamazoo Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-10 record this season.
