Basketball Recap: Wadena-Deer Creek Takes a Loss

Wadena-Deer Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 77-49 loss at the hands of the Crookston Pirates. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolverines this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 77-49 last Sunday.

Wadena-Deer Creek now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Crookston, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Wadena-Deer Creek will square off against Bertha-Hewitt at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Crookston has already played their next game, a 76-42 loss against East Grand Forks on the 6th.
