Basketball Recap: Del City Wins Going Away Against Classen SAS

Del City won the last time they faced Classen SAS and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Del City Eagles took down the Classen SAS Comets 62-44. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Several Comets players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Amontae Montague, who went 5-for-12 en route to 10 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals. Classen SAS is 3-1 when Montague posts three or more steals, but 7-11 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Josiah Morales, who posted 15 points.

Del City's win bumped their record up to 15-9. As for Classen SAS, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-12.

Looking ahead, Del City will square off against Duncan at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Classen SAS, they will challenge Midwest City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Classen SAS is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58.2 points per game this season.
