Baseball Game Preview: Clarkdale Bulldogs vs. Bay Springs Bulldogs

Clarkdale is a perfect 10-0 against Bay Springs since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. We've got a battle between Bulldogs coming up. Bay Springs took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Clarkdale, who comes in off a win.

Clarkdale took a loss when they played away from home last Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Neshoba Central a 3-0 shutout.

Meanwhile, Bay Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch last Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 16-0 to Lake. That's two games in a row now that the Bulldogs have lost by exactly 16 runs.

Bay Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Clarkdale, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Clarkdale took their victory against Bay Springs in their previous meeting back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 14-0. Does Clarkdale have another victory up their sleeve, or will Bay Springs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
