Volleyball Recap: Brookside Comes Up Short

Brookside was the 2-1 winner over Rocky River when they last played one another back in September of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Cardinals took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pirates on Saturday. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-15.

Brookside's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Rocky River, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-2.

Brookside wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Columbia on the 2nd. As for Rocky River, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Normandy on the 2nd.
