Meanwhile, Rockdale was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 43-37 to Lexington. The defeat continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now lost three in a row.

The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.4 points over those games. As for Rockdale, their loss dropped their record down to 11-23.
