Basketball Recap: Kossuth Comes Up Short

If Kossuth was feeling good fresh off their 58-30 takedown of Mantachie on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Aggies took a 53-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Adamsville Cardinals on Friday. The Aggies were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cardinals apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2022.

Kossuth's defeat dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Adamsville, they pushed their record up to 12-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kossuth will host Belmont at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Aggies will need to watch out since the Cardinals have now posted at least 55 points in their last ten matchups. As for Adamsville, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Liberty Tech Magnet at 6:00 p.m.
