Tipton-Rosemark Academy took a 11-run loss the last time they faced off against Dyer County, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Tipton-Rosemark Academy Rebels narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Dyer County Choctaws 12-11. Winning may never get old, but the Rebels sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Tipton-Rosemark Academy got a massive performance out of Wesley Pinner, who scored three runs while going 3-for-4. Pinner is becoming a predictor of Tipton-Rosemark Academy's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 3-4 when he doesn't). Another player making a difference was RJ Massey, who scored two runs while going 4-for-4.

Tipton-Rosemark Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .447. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Tipton-Rosemark Academy pushed their record up to 6-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to hits: they averaged an imposing nine hits in those games compared to only 2.4 in the others. As for Dyer County, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3-1.
