Baseball Recap: Longview Comes Up Short

Longview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Tyler Legacy Red Raiders, falling 8-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Red Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-2 on Tuesday.

Longview's loss dropped their record down to 1-20. As for Tyler Legacy, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-4-1.

Longview will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Royse City at 7:00 p.m. on the 21st. As for Tyler Legacy, they will head out to take on Rockwall at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
