Volleyball Recap: Valor Christian Wins High-Profile Contest Against Arvada West + How To Watch

Valor Christian faced Arvada West in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Eagles blew past the Wildcats 3-0. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Valor Christian's got stronger as the match went on, holding Arvada West to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-17, 25-15.

Valor Christian can attribute much of their success to Harper Scott, who had 17 digs. Those 17 digs gave Scott a new career-high. Kora Fisher also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Valor Christian's victory bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Arvada West, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 6-1.
