Football Recap: Paramount Snaps Three-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Paramount's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They never let the Mayfair Monsoons get on the board and left with a 6-0 victory. This was payback for the Pirates, who suffered a 24-6 loss the last time these two teams met.

Paramount's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-9. As for Mayfair, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-11.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Paramount is set to take on their familiar foe Gahr at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. This will be the Pirates' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. Meanwhile, Mayfair will challenge rival Mission Viejo at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
