Basketball Recap: Langdon/Edmore/Munich Takes a Loss

After flying high against Warwick last Thursday, Langdon/Edmore/Munich came back down to earth. Langdon/Edmore/Munich opened the new year with a less-than-successful 63-54 defeat to the Benson County [Leeds/Maddock] Wildcats. While losing is never fun, Langdon/Edmore/Munich can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked 51st, while Benson County [Leeds/Maddock] is ranked third).

Langdon/Edmore/Munich now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Benson County [Leeds/Maddock], the win keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.

Langdon/Edmore/Munich will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Drayton/Valley-Edinburg at 7:00 p.m. on January 21st. As for Benson County [Leeds/Maddock], they will be playing at home against Nelson County co-op [Lakota/Dakota Prairie] at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
