Basketball Recap: McKee Vo-Tech/Staten Island Tech Takes a Loss

McKee Vo-Tech/Staten Island Tech had to start their season on the road on Saturday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. The game between McKee Vo-Tech/Staten Island Tech and the Robeson Business Tech Eagles didn't end well, with McKee Vo-Tech/Staten Island Tech falling 76-62.

Robeson Business Tech's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Zaire Robinson, who posted 16 points along with eight steals and seven assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryce Hall, who scored 15 points and five steals.

McKee Vo-Tech/Staten Island Tech will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Norman Thomas at 12:00 p.m. on January 24, 2026. As for Robeson Business Tech, they will square off against Queens Teaching at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
