Volleyball Recap: Conneaut Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Conneaut was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 3-1 to the Madison Blue Streaks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Streaks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 4th.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 22-25, 25-21, 25-15.

Lillian Ensman paced Conneaut's offense, picking up six kills. Ensman got some help from Lynn Muha and her seven assists. Ensman was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Leading Madison to victory were Gracie Kless and Kami Titman. Kless had 22 digs and three aces, while Titman had five kills, four digs, and two aces. Kless has been hot for a while, having posted 11 or more digs the last nine times she's played.

Conneaut's defeat dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Madison, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-9 record this season.

Conneaut didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Badger on the 24th. As for Madison, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Jefferson Area on the 25th.
