Baseball Recap: West Memphis Christian Takes a Loss

Wednesday just wasn't the day for West Memphis Christian's offense. They came up short against the Rivercrest Colts on Wednesday, falling 15-0. The match marked the first time this year in which the Black Knights were not able to get on the board.

West Memphis Christian is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-10. As for Rivercrest, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-11 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Memphis Christian will challenge Kirby at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The last three games the Cougars have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Rivercrest, they will face off against Hoxie at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Mustangs will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.
