Football Recap: Selinsgrove Seals vs. Danville Ironmen
Selinsgrove was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 21-12 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Danville Ironmen. The Seals lost against the Ironmen in their previous head to head back in October of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 49-7 score last time.
Selinsgrove's loss came despite strong showings from Peter Scorsone and Jonathan Neidig. Scorsone picked up 107 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns, while Neidig threw for 102 yards and two TDs. Scorsone didn't just play on offense: he also made five total tackles and defended one pass in addition to snagging three interceptions.
Kole Harvey was a one-man wrecking crew For Danville. as he picked up 118 receiving yards and a pair of scores.
