Basketball Recap: Connell Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Connell lost to Zillah back in December of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The matchup between the Eagles and the Leopards didn't end well, with the Eagles falling 84-65. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (63), the Eagles still had to take the loss.

This is the second loss in a row for Connell and nudges their season record down to 10-7. As for Zillah, their win was their 21st straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-0.

Connell and Zillah should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Washington Rankings. The Eagles (ranked 108th) will meet College Place (ranked 277th) at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Zillah will challenge Kiona-Benton at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (7 vs. 320).
