Football Recap: King City Takes a Loss

King City suffered their closest loss since October 14, 2024 on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Carmel Padres by a score of 14-12. While the Mustangs had to settle for second, they closed the game well in the third quarter, where they outscored the Padres 6-0.

Although King City took the loss, they still got scores from Dania Rodriguez and Gizelle Huerta.

King City's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Carmel, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

King City wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 12-6 win against Branham on the 5th. As for Carmel, they will square off against Palma at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
