Onaga suffers fourth straight loss on the road

Recap: Onaga Buffaloes vs. Hanover Wildcats

The Onaga Buffaloes's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by Hanover on the road and fell 66-27. Onaga was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-14.

Despite the defeat, Onaga saw an underclassman step up: Emmarsyn Fordham scored ten points.

Onaga bumped their record down to 0-3 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 29.0 points per game. As for Hanover, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Onaga will square off against Cornerstone Family at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hanover, they will head out on the road to face off against Diller-Odell on Thursday.
