Basketball Recap: Thunder Basin Takes a Loss

The Thunder Basin Bolts were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 46-40 to the Bismarck Demons.

Thunder Basin's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Bismarck, the win was the fifth in a row (dating back to last season) for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Thunder Basin and Pine Ridge will face off at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played. As for Bismarck, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Mandan at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
