Basketball Recap: Rose Bud Comes Up Short

Rose Bud was the 56-43 winner over Episcopal when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Rose Bud Ramblers were just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 56-55 to the Episcopal Wildcats. The Ramblers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Rose Bud's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-9. As for Episcopal, the win got them back to even at 6-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rose Bud will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Harmony Grove at 11:15 a.m. on January 2, 2025. Rose Bud is facing Harmony Grove at the right time seeing as Harmony Grove is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Episcopal, they will take on ESTEM in a tournament on Thursday.
