Baseball Recap: Stark Comes Up Short

Stark was the 7-6 winner over Pembroke when they last played one another back in April of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Generals fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 5-4 on Wednesday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Stark's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Pembroke, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Stark is set to challenge their familiar foe Lebanon at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Pembroke will face off against rival Bow at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
