Who's up and who's down

The power rankings have experienced a modest tune-up after last week's playoff battles. Among the games was a one-point thriller between Chippewa Valley and Clarkston.

No Stoppin 'Em

New Lothrop and Madison went up, up, and away last week as they combined for the highest point total (94) among all power ranked teams. New Lothrop finished ahead of Madison by a score of 50 - 44. The win boosted New Lothrop a satisfying six spots in the power rankings.

Movin on Up

Unity Christian claimed most-improved honors this week by climbing the power ranking ladder ten rungs after its game against Portland. Everything went Unity Christian's way against Portland as it secured a 42 - 7 win. Unity Christian did have the odds in its favor, but the team did even better than the MaxPreps state rankings indicated.
