Volleyball Recap: Ishpeming's Victory on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Ishpeming had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt West Iron County on Wednesday. The Hematites blew past the Wykons 3-0. The victory was nothing new for the Hematites as they're now sitting on four straight dating back to last season.

Ishpeming's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for West Iron County, they dropped their record down to 2-3 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Ishpeming and West Iron County will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Hematites are set to square off against their familiar foe Iron Mountain on Thursday. Meanwhile, West Iron County will challenge rival Calumet at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
