Baseball Recap: Airport Takes a Loss

Airport's last matchup with Huron could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Monday. The Jets lost 10-0 to the Chiefs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Jets of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in June of 2024.

Airport's loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Huron, the win keeps they at an undefeated 8-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Airport will host Jefferson at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Huron, they will welcome Roosevelt at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Chiefs are facing the Bears at the right time seeing as the Bears are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
