Pickens posted their closest victory since March 11, 2025 on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-1 win over the Crescent Tigers. This was payback for the Blue Flame, who suffered a 5-2 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Pickens' victory bumped their record up to 2-0-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Pickens will venture away from home to square off against Pendleton at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Crescent, they are headed away from home for the first time to take on Christ Church Episcopal at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
