Basketball Game Preview: Coram Deo Academy Lions vs. Pantego Christian Panthers

The Coram Deo Academy Lions will face off against the Pantego Christian Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Coram Deo Academy is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They really took it to Founders Classical Academy for the full four quarters, racking up a 60-12 victory. With the Lions ahead 37-5 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Selah Johnson had another great game (as she tends to do), going 9-for-20 en route to 25 points. That makes it five consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Coram Deo Academy's points. Another player making a difference was Hadley Manack, who almost dropped a double-double with 15 points and nine boards.

Coram Deo Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in January.

Meanwhile, Pantego Christian didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Heritage Christian Athletics on Friday, but they still walked away with a 42-38 win.

With the victory, Coram Deo Academy broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-3. As for Pantego Christian, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
