With a playoff win on the line, Dimond rose to the challenge on Friday. They came out on top against the South Anchorage Wolverines by a score of 3-1. This was a revenge game for the Lynx: when they faced off against the Wolverines last Saturday, they had to take a 3-1 loss.

Dimond was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-15, 15-25, 26-24, 25-18.

Ailafo Fautanu paced Dimond's offense, picking up 13 kills. Fautanu got some help from Puao Asailevai and her 24 assists. Fautanu also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Tatum Trombley, each putting up three.

Dimond's victory bumped their record up to 35-14-1. As for South Anchorage, their defeat ended an eight-match streak of away wins and brought them to 41-5-1.

Dimond wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Service on the 14th. South Anchorage does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
