Soccer Recap: Gross Catholic Takes a Loss

After flying high against Nebraska City last Friday, Gross Catholic came back down to earth. The Cougars came up short against the South Sioux City Cardinals on Tuesday, falling 10-0. Gross Catholic were not able to make up for their defeat to South Sioux City from their previous meeting back in March of 2023.

Gross Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for South Sioux City, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.

Gross Catholic didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Kearney Catholic on the 5th. As for South Sioux City, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Gretna on the 3rd.
