Softball Recap: Kennedy Comes Up Short

Kennedy fell victim to Sierra Canyon and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Trailblazers, falling 7-0. The Golden Cougars have struggled against the Trailblazers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Kennedy's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Sierra Canyon, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Kennedy will challenge Bishop Alemany at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sierra Canyon, they will face off against Louisville at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday.
