Soccer Game Preview: Neville vs. West Monroe

The Neville Tigers will head out on the road to challenge the West Monroe Rebels at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

While Neville fans will have to keep waiting for their squad to come home, they shouldn't be too worried about the road trip considering the result of Thursday's season opener. They never let Tioga get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory on Thursday.

Meanwhile, West Monroe hadn't done well against Loyola College Prep recently (they were 0-6 in their previous six matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Rebels won by a goal and slipped past the Flyers 1-0.

Neville might still be hurting after the 5-0 loss they got from West Monroe in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. Can the Tigers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
