Soccer Recap: Christian County Takes a Loss

Christian County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 7-2 to the Hopkinsville Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Christian County of the 5-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Christian County's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9-1. As for Hopkinsville, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-7.

Looking ahead, Christian County will host University Heights at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Christian County will need to watch out since University Heights have now posted at least four goals in their last three games. As for Hopkinsville, they will head out on the road to take on Franklin-Simpson at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopkinsville will need to watch out since Franklin-Simpson have now posted at least four goals every time they've taken the pitch this season.
