Wenatchee and Hazen squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Wenatchee had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Highlanders by a score of 2-1. Wenatchee's defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Wenatchee's loss dropped their record down to 15-3. As for Hazen, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 22-1-1.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Wenatchee will challenge Chiawana at 12:15 p.m. on Saturday. Chiawana's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Wenatchee's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Hazen, they will square off against Woodinville at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. Woodinville will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Hazen surely won't give up without a fight.
