Baseball Recap: Rainier Comes Up Short

Rainier was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 10-7 to the Corbett Cardinals. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cardinals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-6 back in April.

James Watkins was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

Rainier's defeat dropped their record down to 6-19. As for Corbett, their win bumped their record up to 9-10.

As of now, neither Rainier nor the Cardinals have any future games scheduled.
