Football Recap: Monrovia Wildcats vs. Rio Hondo Prep Kares
While Monrovia put up plenty of points on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Rio Hondo Prep. The Wildcats breezed past the Kares to the tune of 32-0. That 32 point margin sets a new team best for the Wildcats this season.
Madison Cardona was nothing short of spectacular: she threw for 237 yards and four TDs while completing 81.8% of her passes.
Monrovia's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB four times. In that department, Gesette Soto-Reza was the leader with three sacks.
The victory got Monrovia back to even at 3-3. As for Rio Hondo Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.
