Softball Preview: Reavis Rams vs. Tinley Park Titans

Reavis is 1-6 against Tinley Park since May of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Rams will take on the Titans at 4:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Reavis barely beat Argo the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Rams put the hurt on the Argonauts with a sharp 7-0 win on Monday. The Rams might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matchups by six runs or more this season.

Not much got past Jessica Robitz, who gave up just four hits and racked up 11 Ks to keep Argo off the board.

At the plate, Juliana Chalupa was excellent, going 1-for-4 with one home run and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Sienna Aragones, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Tinley Park had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-1 victory over the Mustangs.
