Basketball Recap: Crivitz Piles Up the Points Against Wausaukee

Crivitz won the last time they faced Wausaukee and things went their way on Thursday too. The Crivitz Wolverines breezed by the Wausaukee Rangers to the tune of 61-30. Given the Wolverines' advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 166th, while the Rangers are ranked 433rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Crivitz has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.6 points per game. As for Wausaukee, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Crivitz will challenge Coleman at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Crivitz is on a six-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), Coleman a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. As for Wausaukee, they will face off against Oneida Nation at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
