Volleyball Recap: Central Lake Takes a Loss

Central Lake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Johannesburg-Lewiston Cardinals. The Trojans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cardinals apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Central Lake's loss dropped their record down to 2-15-1. As for Johannesburg-Lewiston, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 23-4-2.

Coming up, after both having extra time off, Central Lake and Traverse City Christian will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Johannesburg-Lewiston, they will face off against Mancelona at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday.
