Mapleton won the last time they faced Wellington and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Mounties were the clear victors by an 18-1 margin over the Dukes. Considering the Mounties have won 16 matchups by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Mapleton pushed their record up to 21-3 with the victory, which was their 12th straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.9 runs on average over those games. As for Wellington, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-14.
