While Monday's win was certainly a team effort, someone pulling more than their own weight was underclassman Makayla Hopkins. She wasn't messing around on Monday, striking out six batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and not a single walk). The pitching appearance was her fourth straight with one or fewer earned runs.
