Soccer Recap: Wheatland Takes a Loss

Wheatland was the 2-1 winner over Lincoln when they last played one another back in November of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Wheatland Pirates took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lincoln Fighting Zebras on Tuesday. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their goal came courtesy of Tanner Scott, who's now up to five this season.

Wheatland now has a losing record at 1-2-2. As for Lincoln, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-3.

Wheatland has already played their next contest, a 6-3 defeat against Mira Loma on the 12th. As for Lincoln, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 3-3 draw against Marysville on the 12th.
