Basketball Recap: False River Takes a Loss

False River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They took a hard 44-25 fall against the St. John Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Gators this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 57-25 back in December of 2024.

False River's defeat dropped their record down to 2-19. As for St. John, their win bumped their record up to 12-9.

Looking ahead, False River will be taking part in a tournament against Maurepas at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. John, they will challenge Port Allen at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Port Allen has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
