Baseball Recap: Handley Comes Up Short

Handley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Fauquier Falcons, falling 14-3. The Judges were not able to make up for their defeat to the Falcons from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Charlie Allen was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Handley's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Fauquier, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Handley will venture away from home to square off against Rock Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Fauquier, they will head out to take on Skyline at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last five games the Hawks have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
