Herriman is 1-8 against Mountain Ridge since May of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Mustangs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Sentinels at 3:30 p.m. Herriman is coming into the match hot, having won their last four games.
While Herriman didn't have the best season last year (they finished 2-25), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They put the hurt on West Field with a sharp 7-1 win on Friday. Considering the Mustangs have won three contests by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Boston Jacobson made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

In other batting news, Cache Carter was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Easton Webb was another key player, going 1-for-3 with three RBI.
Meanwhile, Mountain Ridge didn't have quite enough to beat Gahr on Thursday and fell 4-3.
Mountain Ridge also got a good showing from Kash Goodsell, who tossed 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.
On the hitting side, Stockton Fowlks was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-5 with one home run and one stolen base. That home run marked the first that he launched this season. Another player making a difference was Cooper Goff, who went 1-for-5 with one home run.
Herriman's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-3. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Mountain Ridge, their loss dropped their record down to 7-3.
