Basketball Recap: Chipley Skates Past Bozeman with Ease

Chipley came tearing into Tuesday's match with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15 points) and they left with even more momentum. They took their game with ease, bagging a 43-8 win over the Bozeman Bucks. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 26 points or more this season.

Sarayah Hogan continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, putting up 13 points and eight boards. Another player making a difference was Chelsea Corbin, who posted seven points and five steals.

Chipley's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Bozeman, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chipley will face off against Mosley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Mosley knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Chipley likes a good challenge. As for Bozeman, they will square off against Arnold at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
