Basketball Game Preview: Little Cypress-Mauriceville Bears vs. Lumberton Raiders

The Little Cypress-Mauriceville Bears will face off against the Lumberton Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Little Cypress-Mauriceville is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Vidor on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Little Cypress-Mauriceville took a blow against Vidor, falling 84-31. The Bears were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-13.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 55 points the game before, Lumberton was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They fell just short of Bridge City by a score of 33-30. The Raiders have struggled against the Cardinals recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Little Cypress-Mauriceville dropped their record down to 11-14 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Lumberton, they now have a losing record at 12-13.
