Baseball Recap: Caldwell Comes Up Short

Caldwell suffered their biggest defeat since May 11, 2024 on Friday. They came up short against the Navasota Rattlers, falling 12-2. The Hornets haven't had much luck with the Rattlers recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Caldwell's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Navasota, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-7 record this season.

While Caldwell had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled on Tuesday.
