Plano East extended their postseason success on Wednesday against Trinity. They came out on top against the Trojans by a score of 4-0. The win was familiar territory for the Panthers, who have now won ten matches in a row.

Jadyn Dawson made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out nine over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run and one double.

Dawson wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Kayleigh Miller, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one double.

Plano East pushed their record up to 26-9 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. As for Trinity, they moved to 20-13-1 with that loss, which also ended their seven-game winning streak.

Plano East will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Trojans: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
